Know Your Transporter will be presented by Mr.P.Pavan Kumar III/IV ME, as a post theme event of Theme Automobile. Latest Engine designs and technologies of automobiles like DTSi, CRDi , ABS etc, will be presented. Students who are interested in the Field of Automobile Engineering may utilize this talk to update their knowledge.
All the ASME members are expected to actively involve in the session.

Talk on Career Guidance
KLU ASME Student Section welcomes all its members to participate in the talk to be presented by Ms.K.Sree Lakshi, Chair KLU ASME Student Section, IV/IV ME, on 9th April 2011.
The talk would be on Career Planning and Career Guidance for the students. The main aim of the Talk is to provide the student members, awareness regarding the different choices that they have after Engineering and what are the things are to be learnt in order to be comfortable with their careers.

Freshers Meet 2011
KLU ASME Student Section freshers meet was organized on 1st April 2011, from 3:30pm to 6:15pm in the Jasmine Hall. The meeting was graced by Dr. Y.V.Hanumantha Rao sir, HOD Mechanical Engineering department and Prof.Shyam Prasad sir, Faculty Advisor, KLU ASME Student Section.
Student members of ASME and the freshers who joined ASME were invited and more than 70 people attended the meet. This meet was organized, in order to present the report of all the activities that were conducted and what the organization is expecting from the Student Members.
Dr.Y.V.Hanumantha Rao sir, addressed the students and advised them to participate in all the events that are being organized and to be associated with a professional organizations like ASME.
Prof.K.Shyam Prasad sir, Faculty Advisor, enlightened the students about how working in an organization like ASME would enhance the skills of a student in particular.
The themes that were planned to be organized, in the up coming semister were officially announced and the students were advised to keep working in their field of interest.



On this occasion, the present Chair of KLU ASME Student Section, Ms.K.Sree Lakshmi (IV/IV ME), Treasurer Mr.K.Sumanth (IV/IV ME), Mr.P.Ravi Teja (IV/IV ME), were all felicitated by the organization, for the invaluable services offered by them.
